Last Days of Summer

I know it's supposedly autumn, but it's still very hot outside. My furs don't know it's still summer so I keep getting thicker and thicker which makes me feel hotter and hotter. My Mommy tries to keep me inside where she keeps the air "conditioned" (whatever that means), but I need my little yard jaunts.

I like to lie stretched out on the garden bench because then I can catch a breeze with my tummy. I also like to eat grass and look at the flowers (which I don't eat). Here are my favorites:

These are pincushion flowers and they bloom all the way through December if Mommy keeps pruning them back. This picture is from summer when they were kind of little but now they look like big pincushion shrubberies!

Your furs get thicker? I have been sheddin' like crazy. That what Bean call me, Miss Sheddin. Supposedly Cat shed more in fall then they do in spring. She go over my whole coat with comb on Monday night. You should see all the furs come out!

Wow! We wish we did that. Thomassina sheds a lot but the rest of us get big, thick winter coats.

You look very relaxed all stretched out on that bench. Good idea, so you can get some ventilation in your furs.

Sorry to hear that it's so hot for you. I like the heat, but my humans don't.

That bench looks like a nice place to lounge, Bob! I like to sit under all of Momma's flowers in the garden. Gardens sure are nice.

That picture of you on the bench is great! It is still in the 80ies to 90ies here too, so I go sleep inside cool and shaded places.
I need your help to make a decision - if you have time, come and take the poll at my blog? Thank you!
